Just a reliable pick for a brief pause in Bowness-on-Windermere with very good value for money. The lunch was a bit of a disappointment as it felt overly trendy and not as cozy as before. Consider eating out to enjoy more traditional options.

The grounds are beautifully modernized, and the nearby Brant Fell Viewpoint offers breathtaking views just a short walk away, making it a delightful experience for weekend explorers like myself as I enjoyed the enchanting atmosphere filled with art and fairy tale statuary. the charm of afternoon tea in the lush conservatory was the icing on the cake amidst my adventures in Bowness-on-Windermere.

We visited this beautiful spot with our large family and little dog. The grounds were exceptional, perfect for outdoor activities and strolls. We enjoyed breathtaking views while exploring the property, and the breakfast was absolutely delightful, setting the tone for our day of adventure in nature.
In my wife’s opinion, there should be a safer path to walk to Bowness Pier for families with children.

We had a lovely weekend retreat with delightful afternoon tea and a cozy evening by the fire. The terrace and garden provided perfect spots to unwind. Just a heads up, the sofas could use a bit more comfort for a real snuggle, but we’d definitely come back! 😊

The gardens and views are stunning, enhanced by beautiful landscaping and impressive statues. The room was beautifully decorated, reflecting a high standard of refurbishment. While the Cumbrian breakfast was excellent and well-sized, the dinner service struggled, with a slow pace that detracted from the dining experience.

Perfect getaway with stunning views
What a gem! We had a lovely time here with incredible views of the lake. Our room was super comfortable, and we loved hanging out in the bar area. Only downside was the breakfast service on the first day, completely lacking that warm touch. Otherwise, everything else was spot on!
